SECAL is a specialist cargo protection brand serving exporters across the Americas. We supply the moisture, movement and temperature protection that containerised cargo needs, and the technical criteria to size it correctly.
What we do
Every container is a closed environment that heats, cools, condenses and moves for weeks. SECAL supplies the five product families that deal with that: container desiccants, silica gel sachets for primary packaging, dunnage air bags, 32 mm composite strapping, and TECHCAL USB temperature loggers.
Our products are produced by international factory partners under our own specification and quality control, and we hold local stock of the main lines so that a shipment is never delayed waiting for protection.
How we work
We size before we sell
The right quantity matters as much as the right product. Our public calculators and best-practice guides show the criteria we use, so you can check the arithmetic yourself.
We publish test conditions
Our container desiccants absorb more than three times their weight in water — 307% at 60 °C and 90% RH, per the certificate of analysis. A figure without its test condition is not a specification.
We stay with the shipment
Advice does not stop at the purchase order. Our specialists review stow plans, loading photographs and claim documentation when something goes wrong.
