For three decades we represented leading cargo protection brands. Everything we learned went into SECAL: our own enhanced products, plus the tools to protect every shipment by calculation, not by guesswork.
SECAL did not start as a brand. It started at the port, the plant and the warehouse, solving real problems of moisture, impact and temperature in export containers.
We began by protecting the cargo of exporters shipping coffee, cocoa, grains, fruit and industrial goods to every continent.
We represented major brands in the industry. We studied how each product performed by cargo, route and season, and what was still left unsolved.
With that knowledge we developed our own line: higher-performing, more sustainable products, backed by technical support that never came with the brands we represented.
We added technical calculators with costs, an app that works offline and usage guides by product and by crop, so every shipment carries exactly the protection it needs.

We choose plants experienced in desiccants and securing materials, and we ask more of them: formulas and formats tuned to what we learned over 30 years of real shipments.

Every SECAL line comes with more than the product: the technical know-how to use it well.
Our container desiccant absorbs more than three times its weight in water — certified 307% at 60 °C and 90% RH.
Five calculators tell you how much product your cargo needs and what it costs, by container, route and type of goods.
The right dose avoids overuse: fewer units, less waste and lower cost on every shipment.
Step-by-step usage guides by product and by crop, and a specialist who supports you before and after shipment.
