Frequently asked questions

What is the CTU Code?

It is the Code of Practice for Packing of Cargo Transport Units (CTU Code), developed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). It sets out how to inspect the container, how to stow and secure the cargo and how to control moisture so it arrives in good condition.

Why do you ask how many containers I ship per month?

To size the solution and give you a price that matches your volume. With frequent shipments we can propose scheduled supply.

How many photos do I need?

One photo is enough to start: the one that best shows your packaging or your container. You can upload up to 10. If the specialist needs to see anything else, they will message you on WhatsApp.

How soon do I get the report?

Within 24 business hours of receiving your photos and complete details.
